It’s barely been any time since we saw a new Android Mini released, but there’s a new set arriving this week.

The new Android Mini set was designed in cooperation with some Googlers and features a Dog and Cat. The minis feature a standard sized dog, and smaller cat shaped Android mini with custom ears instead of antenna. According to Andrew Bell, the designer behind Dead Zebra, the set will cost $16USD (about $22.50 AUD) plus shipping.

The set goes on-sale from 11am EDT, that’s New York, which means you’ll have to be up at 1am AEST on Thursday morning (13/09) to get yourself one. Shipping can be fairly expensive from the US, so hopefully they’ll hit some regional resellers soon.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
