After Instagram introduced shopping in March, they’ve been looking to expand further experimenting with including it in Stories starting in June. They’ve today announced the broader rollout of shopping in Stories, as well as a new personalised channel in Explore.
Shopping in Stories is rolling out globally to brands in 46 countries, who will be able to insert links into their stories for you to learn more about products featured. Instagram says over 400 million accounts view stories every day, so there’s a lot of potential for Shopping in these circumstances.

The new shopping channel in Explore will be personalised to you, based on accounts, topics and people you follow, or Instagram thinks you might like.
Instagram is introducing the Shopping channel in Explore from today, but it will be a slow rollout expanding to everyone globally over the next few weeks.
