Santa Claus may be coming to town, but the Christmas deals have already arrived. If you’re after a new phone – or even just a new phone plan – there’s plenty of festive bargains going around. Here’s a couple of standout holiday deals from Optus, Vodafone, and Telstra.

Optus Christmas Deals

If all you want for Christmas is more data, Optus has slashed prices on its 12-month contract SIM-only plans. The best deal here is its 80GB plan, which is now $41.25 per month. Here is the complete range of discounted plans.

These discounts are available until December 19.

If you’re after a new phone, Optus will throw in 12 months of free Netflix to anyone who buys a Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, or Galaxy Note 9 on a 24-month contract before January 13. You’ll get a year-long subscription to the $13.99 Netflix tier, which lets you watch on two screens at once and in high definition.

This offer runs until January 13.

Vodafone Christmas Deals

Vodafone has bumped up SIM-only inclusions across the board, adding as much as 40GB to select plans. We really like the $40 per month deal, which will get you 50GB of data on a 12-month contract. And at $1 per gig, the $35 for 35GB promo is also a solid choice.

These deals run until December 20.

Telstra Christmas Deal

Samsung’s Galaxy S9 may be getting close to a year old, but it’s still an excellent phone, and there’s now some excellent deals. One of the best comes from Telstra.

You can now get a Galaxy S9 for $69 per month with no additional handset repayment fees on a 24-month contract. This offer also includes 30GB of full-speed data, unlimited talk and text, and “peace of mind data which is slowed to 1.5Mbps and kicks in once you use up your 30GB”. If you sign up before Christmas Eve, you’ll get a bonus Google Home Mini.

This offer runs until December 25.

If you’d prefer something a little newer, Telstra is currently offering a $15 per month discount on its 20GB Google Pixel 3 (64GB) plan. This plan would normally cost $104 per month on a two-year contract, but is now down to $89 per month. That’s a saving of $360 over 24-months.

This offer runs until December 31.

Last but not least, Telstra is offering new customers 60GB for $49 per month on a 12-month SIM-only contract. If you’re already with Telstra, you can still get this deal for $59 per month, which is still a $10 per month discount on the plan’s regular price, and less than $1 per gig.

This offer runs until December 17.

I know it’s Apple but Optus have iPad pro 11 256gb LTE with 200gb of data a month over 24 months for $85 a month.

For me that’s a better deal than anything listed above. So much so that I may very soon own an Apple product :/ lol
