Part of being a Google services user is knowing that anything you use may disappear with little to no notice. Just to remind you of that fact, Google has announced that they are closing down Google Fit’s web interface. We’re assuming that usage of Fit’s web interface must have been very low.

In a short notice posted to the top of the Fit Web UI, Google announced it was focusing efforts on further developing the platform for the mobile and smartwatch platforms. Google was quick to point out that they are still developing the platform and highlighted its recent updates and new years challenges.

Honestly, this feels like a change that will affect very few users. That said, if your fitness routine included using the Web UI you’re likely to be experiencing the joy of losing access. Google Fit’s web UI will be shut off from the 19th of March this year.
