Google says “Happy Easter” with a connected device sale on the Google Store

If you’ve been holding out on getting a Google Home Mini and Chromecast (Gen 3) combination, or if you were looking for a gift idea anyway, Google has an Easter special for you.

Starting today on the Google Store you can get both a Google Home Mini and Chromecast (Standard definition) for just $79 with free delivery, that’s $59 off – or a free Chromecast – depending on how you look at it.

For someone looking to start out into Google World of voice-controlled ambient computing and entertainment, these two devices will offer you a gateway into the possibilities offered by the Assistant/ Google ecosystem. Paired with the Home app on either Android or iOS and a few cast enabled apps you’ll be able to stream to your heart’s content.

The deal is live now and will run until the 25 April 2019 at 11:59 pm AEST, so if you want to grab one, don’t delay too much.

  • Australia gets one fairly miserable (unless you happen to be after those exact two items) special offer on the Google Store, yet the US store gets about 20 special offers with items always cheaper (even after conversion costs) than the Australian store.
