At MWC Barcelona this year OPPO showed off their 10x hybrid zoom camera and according to a poster released on Weibo today it will show off their new under-display selfie camera at the upcoming MWC in Shanghai.

Not long ago OPPO teased us with their under-display camera and today they have taken that a step further effectively promising to show it off on June 26. In a poster that they have uploaded to Weibo they have announced that they will hold a press conference at MWC19 Shanghai on June 26.

The poster shows a highlighted circle that looks very much like the under-display selfie camera we saw in the recently released video suggesting that they are ready to show it off in a new phone, most likely a prototype.

Whatever the case it is amazing to see it in a prototype worth showing off at this early stage. We originally thought it would take a year or two to come to market but if OPPO are bringing this into the public eye so soon you can be sure they have other ideas.

All eyes will be on that press conference next week in Shanghai to see what OPPO have to say about their under-display camera. You can bet we will be right on top of it.
