We have seen a lot of great deals on Telstra plans from their competitor/owner JB Hi-Fi but this time The Good Guys have come up with their own — and they’re very similar to the JB deals as you would expect with JB being their parent company now.

For port-in and new Telstra customers only The Good Guys are offering some great value on Telstra plans along with throwing in some added bonuses depending on the plan. The plans offer similar value to the JB Hi-Fi plans and are as follows:

  • $45 plan for 12 months –> 50GB of data and $200 Bonus The Good Guys gift card.
  • $65 plan for 12 months –> 60GB of data and $300 Bonus The Good Guys gift card.
  • $65 plan for 24 months –> 80GB of data and $500 Bonus The Good Guys gift card.

All plans come with unlimited standard talk and text to be used in Australia. When you factor in the credit from the gift card these plans look incredibly enticing, although Vodafone and Optus do tend to have even better deals available every other month.

If you are looking to make the switch to Australia’s premium network these types of deals from The Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi seem to be the way to go. I do encourage you to make sure that you have decent Telstra coverage in your area before signing any long term contract.
