The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 4G has only just been released, and now Mobvoi is bringing some joy to owners of watches from the existing range. A new software update coming for the TicWatch C2, E2 and S2 lines will soon arrive, promising some fixes, updates, and perhaps most importantly, a solution for lag.

Mobvoi make some of the best Wear OS watches around at the moment, but like all Wear OS watches, the underlying OS causes some lag issues which can be very frustrating.

With this latest update coming today, Mobvoi says that TicWatch C2, E2, and S2 owners should notice that system lag issues should be improved. Along with those optimizations, Mobvoi says that “certain” pre-installed applications have been updated. The company isn’t specific about the details, but most likely TicHealth updates are inbound.

If you’ve got one of these TicWatch models, we’d suggest hitting the updates menu (System -> About -> System Updates) and checking every so often.
