With Google moving into the Audiobook space last year they seem to have been struggling to get market share against the titan in the space, Amazon’s Audible. While we have often wondered why Google doesn’t try the same subscription credit model sed by Audible it seems they don’t mode trying discount codes.

We’re hearing that some Local Guides are being offered discount codes for the Google Play Store to be used on Audiobooks. The $7 AUD voucher can be used towards the purchase of any Audiobook on the Play Store that is $7 or more.

If you get the offer from Local Guides, once added to your account you can browse the catalogue and start enjoying some audio entertainment.
