With renders of the soon to be released Motorola Razr foldable phone breaking cover yesterday, we didn’t think it would be long before more leaks emerged.

Today we’ve got what might be out first real-world look at the device thanks to an eagle-eyed Weibo user who snapped the device in someone’s hands.

Now, very large amounts of salt are needed to digest this image. However, the device exactly depicts what we saw yesterday and even shows off the bottom aspect where a USB port can be seen. What is interesting to us is how flat the display is unfolded. If this is genuine then there’s no sign of a bump on that old screen, which is something we’ve been wondering about.

With just under 2 weeks until the official unveiling of the Motorola Razr, we think the leaks have just begun.

I can’t see anything specific, but something about that pic feels off – I think it’s the incongruity between the hands, which look poised and self-conscious like they know they’re on deliberate display vs. the backdrop which is trying to look all industrial and spontaneous. Which to my eye makes it a staged pic trying to look like a ‘spotted in the wild’ pic. Though I can’t imagine why yet
