Setting up your news feed can be a very particular thing for lots of users. Unfortunately for users who are multilingual, you were restricted to your primary language – until now.

The update currently rolling out now allows users to have news articles from multiple countries and languages.

We’ve built a new feature in Google News that will provide access to news articles from multiple languages and countries from around the world, all within one app.

At this time, the feature is limited to two languages. The personalisation of your news feed will continue. So if you (like I do) have a highly tech driven news feed that will continue to be your feed, but with a bit more of an international flavour.

You can activate this once you’ve updated your Google News app by changing the language settings in the app.
