Skullcandy says the Push wireless earbuds are the company’s first true wireless earbuds, apparently forgetting about the Indy buds released earlier this year. Oops!

Push earbuds have been available overseas for some time, but Skullcandy is releasing them locally in major retailers this week.

The Push promises six hours of playback, and the case can recharge them for another six hours of battery life. A button on each earbud lets you control playback, volume, answer calls and activate assistant features.

With an IPX4 rating, the Push earbuds can resist sweat from exercise. Additionally, the earbud tips are made of a proprietary gel that should prevent slippage and keep them secure.

Skullcandy offers discounted purchase options for single earbuds or a charging case separately in case one piece is lost.

The earbuds are on sale now in a multitude of colours for $229.95 from the Skullcandy Store, JB Hi-Fi, and other retailers across Australia.
