Google just made customising your Smart Clock easier and better

Google Assistant as well as other smart assistants are working their way towards deeper integration with our lives. The Lenovo Smart Clock is just another step towards complete integration and some changes to the software outlined in a recent blog post will make it a gentler, more pleasant companion for mornings.

With the latest software update rolling out globally today, your device can be customized to your environment. “Impromptu” is a new alarm option that gives you a ringtone that fits your situation, based on things like the time of day or weather. It’s powered by machine learning technology from our Magenta open source project. For example, if your alarm goes off early in the morning and the weather is less than 50 degrees, you may hear this ringtone.

These changes have come about as a result of continued feedback from users, so if you’ve got feedback send it in. Users are being heard!

Given the time of year we’re in and the relatively low cost of the Lenovo Smart Clock through retailers, why not treat yourself and a family member to a new Smart Assistant based clock.
