htc-be-edgier

HTC have sent out invitation overnight to a September 20 Event with the tagline #BeEdgier. It’s hard to tell what the Edge is hinting at, an angular device? An edge screen? Silly marketing? both with September 20 just a week away we won’t have long to wait to find out.

As per previous leaks we are expecting the HTC Desire 10 line to be released his month. Two models are expected the Pro and lifestyle. Thanks to previous leaks we’ve got some idea of what will be in the Desire 10 lifestyle.

The Desire 10 Lifestyle will feature a large 5.5″ HD 720×1280 display and is powered by an unspecified quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with two memory variants, 3GB RAM/32GB storage or 2GB/16GB. It will have a 13MP sensor on the rear while a 5MP sensor on the front. We’ve also caught a glimpse of the device sporting a fingerprint sensor.

You can bet that this isn’t the last we’ve heard of the HTC Desire 10 before they launch. You can check out HTC’s tweet promoting the rear fingerprint scanner below.

Are you interested in HTC’s mid-ranged Desire range? Let us know what you’re hoping for below.

Maybe they’ve reduced their bezels from 20mm to 5mm. Living life on the edge.

HTC partnership with Dominos’ “The Edge” pizza crust confirmed!!

Why go to all the length to include a fingerprint scanner , fancy ( questionably ) design and gimp it with a 5.5 inch HD screen that is going to look pixelated … HTC decisions are dumbfounding at times

Sounds like they might be really good mid range phones suitable for kids. Hope they price it accordingly. I would be interested in giving a 32GB Lifestyle to my daughter.

Yes, I need one for my daughter, too. Moto Z Play also looks good, but it’s not for sale here yet.

I just hope HTC Australia don’t give it the A9 treatment. The A9 looked like a brilliant mid-range phone. Yep. That’s the one. The carbon copy of the iPhone. They advertised it on their website in AU but then decided not to release it here. That is when I lost all faith in HTC. But I am willing to give this one a go if they bring it here. And hopefully before Christmas so I can give it to my daughter as her Christmas gift.
