Google’s Made by Google event is now little over two weeks away, and while leaks are now turning to what other devices Google might announce, there’s still mileage in leaking details about the Pixel 3 XL (and it’s less-leaked little sister, the Pixel 3).

Twitter user Ishan Agarwal has shared some remarkably detailed photos of the Pixel 3 XL, including its notch and front-facing cameras, both sides, front and back. There’s nothing especially new here, but it does give us an incredibly detailed look at what’s on offer.

Meanwhile, further details of that front-facing camera have emerged. We knew about Google’s Super Selfies with added lens, and today we’ve had reiterated the 8MP sensor size, detailing how one lens features auto focus and a f/1.8 aperture. The other lens has a slower f/2.2 aperture with potentially a fixed focal length too.

Exactly how these cameras will be controlled by the Pixel software remains to be seen, but early indications are that the operation of both lenses will be software controlled, instead of confusing users with lens-specific options. This is, after all, how most other manufacturers do it so there’s no real trickery here.

A wider aperture is a smaller f-stop. 1.8 is a wider aperture than 2.2.
