Interest in Motorola’s mid-range G-series line up is still strong, and the next generation is set to be unveiled very soon with Motorola beginning to send out invites to their upcoming launch event in São Paulo, Brazil on February 7th.
The invite being sent out includes the tagline ‘O que mais importa para você?’ in Portugese, which translates to ‘What Matters Most To You?’. The invite features a young lady who appears to be taking a selfie, indicating that the camera is likely the focus for the event, and the Moto G7 lineup.
It will be a line-up as well when Motorola announce the G7 with four models (Moto G7, G7 Plus, G7 Play, and Moto G7 Power) expected to be announced. Motorola has a history of releasing multiple iterations of their phones with different screen, processor, RAM, storage and camera combinations but it appears from leaks (via DroidShoutout) that the phones will all feature a notch in the display on the front, and a dual camera setup & fingerprint sensor on the rear.
Motorola will likely bring at least one model to Australia but we’ll have to wait for after the event to learn more about local availability. The event will begin at 9:30am local time in São Paulo – that’s 10:30pm AEDT on the 7th Feb. We don’t have any details on a live stream, but we’ll be checking in with Motorola Australia for further details.
I haven’t received an invite yet… 🙁 I wanna go to Brazil tooooo
