Google is honouring Aussie icon and all-around legend Steve Irwin with a dedicated Google Doodle this Friday 22 February 2019, which will see the Doodle drawing run for 24 hours from midnight on Google homepages around the world – including Australia, the US, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America

The Doodle features a an animated slideshow illustrating Steve’s journey as a zookeeper, conservationist and father.There will also be a guest blog entry from Terri Irwin, along with Family photos of the Irwins.

Google Assistant will also be joining in, with the assistant able to answer queries to learn fun facts about Steve and conservation and there will also be Google Trends data about wildlife and crocs, which Steve was most passionate about.

As stated, the Google Doodle drawing of Steve Irwin will be available for 24 hours from this Friday 22 February 2019 so it might be worth checking it out.

Aww that’s nice of them! I know he gets a bit of schtick here in Oz, but they loved him something chronic overseas, nice to have a bit of a tribute
