HTC’s upcoming handset, currently known by the codename ‘Perfume’, will apparently be called the HTC 10 when it’s announced next month on April 19th. The handset has seen a lot of rumours, and there’s been some more to add to the mix, as well as a number of fan made renders of the device which could give you an idea of what it looks like.
The rumour on specs, comes from a fairly credible source with Evan Blass talking about the screen and battery on the upcoming handset on Twitter. The screen will continue HTC’s use of LCD on their handsets with the HTC 10 using a SLCD 5 screen – not AMOLED as rumoured – and coming with a 3,000mAh battery, a step up from the 2,840mAh battery in the One M9. Evan has also shared another render of the HTC 10:

Now, we’ve seen what the HTC 10 will look like in what appear to be press renders, but in terms of what it will look like in the flesh as it were, some contributors on XDA-Developers have definitely been doing some work. Forum member hamdir has created models based on an original model from another forum member (temp64GTX) and rendered in a variety of colours:
There’s a heap more renders over on XDA if you’re interested in checking out what looks to be a pretty well made render of the HTC 10 in various colours.
