Insofar as Australia is concerned, ZTE’s upcoming phone launch will be the Blade V7, which we saw at Mobile World earlier this year. However, ZTE operate in a number of other markets too, and it looks as if they’ve got some serious flagship action cooking elsewhere. Rumours persist about the ZTE Axon 7, shown above, with an invite sent to the Chinese press for an event to be held on May 26.
Little else is known about the upcoming device; from rumours we’ve read elsewhere, ZTE’s Axon 7 may feature high quality audio support, front-facing speakers, 5.5-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB on board storage, with MicroSD expansion. Camera specs sound impressive too, with a 20MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera. It sounds as if it’s Android 6.0.1 out of the box, which it should be… and this is good.
Once we find out more, we’ll let you know, especially if it’s coming to Australia.
Is is coming to OZ and/or Telstra? Soounds like the perfect phone.
Unlikely, the Axon series haven’t ever come to Australia, we generally get the Blade series. We’ve asked the question, but it’s not looking likely.
