Samsung has two major flagship releases each year, the Galaxy S series release and the Galaxy Note series. With the Galaxy Note 7 rumoured to be announced in early August it is hardly surprised that here we are a few weeks away and rumours/leaks about it are everywhere. Today, to go with the leaked specs of the Galaxy Note 7 the first picture of it has been revealed.
The device itself seems very similar in design to last year’s device with the familiar Samsung fingerprint button on the front and although the capacitive buttons are not visible we are assuming they are there, as they have been in nearly all Samsung Android phones for quite a while. The front display of the phone in the leaked photo is curved and look very similar to last year’s offering. Also of note (Ed: Hah!) is what appears to be the iris scanner that’s been rumoured to be included on the Note 7.
The Note 5 has been very successful for Samsung and it seems that they are sticking with a lot of the same recipe for that success.
We will of course find out more including the software enhancements they have added with their TouchWiz interface in August when it is announced. For now the rumoured specs include:
