LG’s X series handsets are all about delivering premium core features in an affordable phone, without paying for features you want, be it a great camera, screen, or in the case of the LG X Power: Battery. The LG X Power is on its way to Australia with a massive 4,100mAh battery.
The X Power will on-sale for $349 when it finally arrives, but LG hasn’t advised when that will actually be. The phone is showing on the LG Australia website and we haven’t found anyone actually selling it as yet – and their ‘Where to Buy’ button doesn’t list any retailers either.
The phone has the premium design of other phones in the X Series, but with that massive battery included in a body measuring just 7.9mm thin. That’s not to say the phone skimps on other specs with a Quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP camera on the rear. Full secs for the phone include:

Though announced in an array of colours including White, Blue and Black, only the Black coloured handset will be launching here, but it still looks pretty good.

The last X-series handset we saw launched in Australia was the LG X Screen which turned up as a Telstra Signature branded handset renamed to the ‘Enhanced’, so it’s possible this could be heading the same way.
We’ve asked LG Australia for more details on the launch of the X Power here in Australia. It may not be hugely specced, but it’s decent and with a 4100mAh battery it’s going to be an all-day workhorse for sure.

Right team, this is a handicap match, so you are each going in with a limitation. You, LG X Power, you will get a decent sized battery, but a crummy processor, a big screen to soak up that power, but horrible resolution. Go out there and be a lump. 4,100 maH Battery and a 720P screen will be an 2 day phone.
Not for everyone but better than anything on the market if your only concern in battery and just use the phone for basic tasks.
Not really. Put the best together and you get a 5″ 1080p display with a 410 processor, and a 4,100 mAh and dual camera.
Moto G4 is a 5.5″, 1080p display with a 617 processor, 3000mAh and usual camera.
Not the same, but comparable – and the G4 isn’t a flagship.

Sorry to be picky, but I’m not seeing any change when I click on “Show full specs”.
I went to the LG website, no wifi AC and no NFC. Neither critical, but both nice to have.
I cannot see the full specs either. I’m using Chrome. MarkS, got a link to those specs? I cannot find them on LG Australia’s site.
