djay 2

The App and Game deals of the week are seeing some repeat performers of late and djay 2 is another. We last saw it in August last year, but it’s back to 20c for another round.

djay 2 is a fantastic looking app for professional or beginner DJ’s offering the ability to mix tracks stored locally, or through Spotify, essentially turning your Android device into a full–featured DJ system. djay 2 lets you mix on the fly at a gig, or pre-record mixes for playback at a later time.

I`ve got the musical ability of a house brick, but there’s surely a few people out there who love mixing some tunes and djay 2 seems like a great way to do it. If this sounds like you head over to Google Play and grab it for just 20c now.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath

For gamers, the Oddworld is a perennial favourite with a unique blend of adventurous game play combined with an at times infantile humour, but a generally heart warming plot. The Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath title is no different, and it can be yours this week for just 20c.

The story this time no longer focuses on the well known Abe or Munch from previous games, but ‘Stranger’, ‘a drifter turned bounty hunter, with a unique double-barreled critter-firing crossbow’. The story brings over 20 hours of game play action to your mobile screen with intuitive touch-screen or HID gamepad controls which you’ll use to play in both first-person shooter and third-person platformer modes.

There’s bosses to fight, enemies to meet, surprise, stun, lure and blast along the way. You can explore towns, forests and large scale buildings in the game.

The game also works on Android TV, so the HID Gamepad support will come in handy for playing a bit of Oddworld on the big screen.

There are some pretty big restrictions on which chipsets the game will and won’t work with but they’re clearly listed on the Google Play entry for the game.

If you’re in the mood for a fun game then this is a must buy at just 20c. Head over to Google Play and check it out.

In the heat of all the Google announcements last week you may have missed last weeks deals, but Star Walk 2 – Night Sky Guide and Catan are still just 20c each so grab them while they’re still hot.
