NovaPlus

It was just Thursday morning that I wrote up that Huawei were bringing the mid-range NovaPlus to Australia “very soon”. It seems they weren’t messing around with that “very soon” with apparently it available from now at Harvey Norman and Officeworks.

Around 24 hours after sending out the “very soon” tweet Huawei have sent one out yesterday evening announcing that the NovaPlus is available now from Officeworks and Harvey Norman. Neither of the websites have it listed, but if you are interested hit your local store to check it out. It may pay to give them a call first as it is very new. At this stage we are unable to find out the pricing but will update this as soon as we know.

We did get a bit of response to this phone and if you check out the specs you can see why
The specs for the good looking device are fairly impressive. We are hoping to get one to review soon so keep your eye out here for more information on this great mid-ranger. More information can be found on Huawei’s international website

Just got off the phone with Huawei. Offical launch is 8th November, RRP is $499.

That’s a decent price is accurate. I was hopping it’d be between $500-$600

It’d be the best $499 5.5 inch phone locally if that price is right.

Tia

I hope it is right. I rang Huawei and that’s what I was told, so here’s hoping!

It’s now up on the Officeworks website for $499 if you search for it 😉

Neither store has them on the website yet. Harvey Norman at Broadway said yesterday that nothing is on their system yet, either. The “Now” in Huawei’s facebook post isn’t quite right (I saw it yesterday and started making phone calls). It looks to be a great mid-range phone, and I can’t wait to see it.
