Samsung’s Android Nougat Beta program has now ended, but don’t worry the end of the beta heralds the launch of something so much better: the full release.
According to a thankyou message to the Samsung Galaxy S7 beta test group Samsung will be aiming to start the rollout of Nougat in January 2017. While this may be a few months longer than some Samsung owners may have wanted, I think Samsung may have had their attention a little divided of late!
Samsung hasn’t announced any other timelines for other devices that may get Android Nougat as yet but we’ll keep an eye out and let you know when any details start to emerge. In the meantime, if you’ve got an S7 it may soon be time to start spamming the update button, enjoy!.

If you want to block half my screen because I’m using an ad blocker, I’ll go elsewhere.
I don’t mind, your call.
How dare we try and make a modest income to cover what it costs to run Ausdroid, eh? The nerve of some people… We should just donate all these costs and all our time. How silly of me.
Half your screen? Are you running at 600×800 or something? It’s about 1/8th of the screen at worst.
Just select the ad blocker on the chrome desktop > select block element > hover over the blocked message > click on it
this blocks the message too.
Nice try ausdroid …lol
Stop being so ignorant…where do you think the money comes from to finance the running and content of a quality website? Advertising you muppet. Disable your ad blocker for websites that deserve it – Ausdroid being one of those.
