The Huawei Mate 9 grabbed our attention late last year when it was announced and released in Europe. A couple of weeks ago we saw it released in the USA at CES 2017 and next week it will be our turn. Ahead of next week’s launch of the Mate 9, Huawei have announced a promotion for those who pre-order their next flagship.

According to the Huawei Mate 9 website preordering can be done at Vodafone, Optus, Harvey Norman, Allphones and JB Hifi. At Vodafone you can get the Mate 9 starting at $9 a month on a $70/month contract and Optus are offering it at a starting contract of $17 a month on a $40/month plan (both 24 month plans). Allphones are offering it through their Vodafone contracts but for those looking for it outright head over to Harvey Norman where you can preorder it for $999 and claim the promotion.

The Plantronics BackBeat SENSE Bluetooth Headphones are valued at $268 and look like a great piece of kit. Hopefully Huawei have a pair spare to lend to us with the review phone next week. If you are interested in the Huawei Mate 9 go and pre-order it now and claim your headphones at the Huawei Promotions website. The promotion runs from now until the 6th of February so get in quick if you want a free set of BackBeat SENSE headphones. The Mate 9 is looking to be an impressive phone with Huawei bringing an update to their Android skin, EMUI, to their usually impressive hardware build and design.

I’m really looking forward to checking out the Huawei Mate 9 after the launch next week. Stay tuned to Ausdroid to hear our thoughts on Huawei’s follow up to their successful Mate 8.
