Once again our trusty Telstra connect has come through with the goods, this time confirming that the Galaxy S headed to Telstra will indeed be the same design as the VHA & Optus, but will include software differentiation, such as 20 Telstra ‘bloatware’ applications. That’s all that matters, right? 😉
Given the release date being the 21st, we doubt that the Telstra Galaxy S will come pre-loaded with Android 2.2. Although, for $960 we kind of hope it does.
20 free apps! Gee no wonder they are charging so much.
That’s sad – it would have been really nice to have a version in Oz that has some decent construction /and/ the full set of buttons!! Holding buttons down sucks. An alternate body might have made the difference between paying Telstra’s completely stupid Galaxy S prices and not… oh well.
My source has just moved up in my book, correctly stating the Telstra version would be the same. Thanks for the confirmation Buzz
