Samsung has just announced the Dual-Core CPU running Galaxy Core. Samsung intend to release the Galaxy Core in two different SIM configurations as well as different colours, a Dual SIM version which will launch in May and a Single SIM version due out in July.

The low-mid range phone will launch with a host of Samsung exclusive software features such as Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI, S Voice and Voice Unlock as well as the usual Samsung Reader, Music and Games Hubs and ChatON Mobile Communication software. Samsung has not advised if either model will be available in Australia but we have contacted them for comment.

What? Another new model? Their production line must be on roids..
Another day, another new Samsung phone announcement. Over it.
It’s going to be interesting if Google continue to sell the Nexus 4 after releasing a Nexus 5, point being that it will probably drop the price of the N4, making it essentially a high end phone competing in the low end price bracket, against devices such as this.
I don’t know why Samsung would release a new model, they should “update” the Galaxy S2 and call it low end, it’s a damn fine phone that could do some damage if it was given a quick coat of paint and new advertising scheme!
I hope they do. It is a Nexus device. And it’s definitely not a low end slow $20 Android phone.
