Google have today released the Android distribution figures for November with Oreo having a very slight increase with Nougat increasing more yet again.
Just as we saw last month, this month there is once again a drop across the board for all versions of Android below 7.0 with Nougat increasing from 17.8% to 20.6%.
Android 8.0 Oreo was just 0.2% last month and this month we see it improve to a paltry 0.3%. Hopefully we will see more manufacturers rolling out Oreo this month so it can increase more for next month. The imminent release of the Mate 10 worldwide will surely have an impact.
Lollipop and Marshmallow are still the most abundant versions but Nougat is gaining ground quickly. In the next few months you may see the newer, higher quality Android One phones (HTC U11 life, Xiaomi Mi A1 and Moto X4) to name just a few) start to have more of an impact as they release throughout India and around the world.
