Android Headlines reports this morning that ZTE will announce the Blade V9 series of handsets at MWC this month. Expected to continue the affordable quality that the Blade series has become known for, the Blade V9 isn’t exactly new. ZTE Spain’s official website accidentally listed the handset back in December, but not before we got ahold of what’s to come.
ZTE’s Blade 9 will be a glass/metal hybrid, featuring dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor too. Though the bezels will be minimal, they’re not non-existent (as is becoming cliche). On-screen buttons will reduce the chin, and inside can be found a Snapdragon 450 64-bit processor coupled with 2, 3 or 4GB depending on variant. Each RAM configuration will come with 16, 32 or 64GB storage respectively, but fear not – you can put a MicroSD card in the Blade V9 to increase available space for media and photos.
On the outside, the Blade V9 will have a 5.7-inch FullHD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution display, powered by a 3,200mAh battery. Android 8 Oreo is pre-installed, with a 3.5mm headphone jack for those that aren’t ready to give up wired sound just yet. Camera wise, 16 and 5-megapixel sensors will be placed on the back of the Blade V9, while a single 13-megapixel camera will sit on the front side of the device. Bluetooth 4.2 was also mentioned in on the company’s website, while 4G LTE with VoLTE is included too. The ZTE Blade V9 will measure 151.4 x 70.6 x 7.5mm, while it will weigh 140 grams.
