As a founding member of the ‘Made for Google’ accessory program that was launched with the Pixel 2/2XL last year, Australian leather goods company Bellroy has been at the tip of the spear when it comes to providing quality accessories for Google’s latest phones. Today Bellroy has extended their range with a brand new case which allows you to store up to three cards inside it.
The 3-card wallet case for the Pixel 2/2XL allows you keep your most important daily use cards close at hand. The stylish case is made from premium, environmentally certified leather and flex polymer and comes in four colours – Stone, Navy, Black and Caramel. The case also includes a soft microfiber lining that protects your phone as well.
The flip out cover securely encases your cards and closes with a magnet, and can also double as a kickstand for your phone. The minimal design includes access to the rear fingerprint sensor, as well as the active edge sides on the phone as well as protecting your device.
The case gives you the option to carry cards, without the flap over the screen employed by designers of most wallet cases. Bellroy designer, James said of the new case
In this design, the Pixel 2 is celebrated and cards kept out of sight – only there when needed. Tapered shaping helps to keep your phone feeling as slim as possible.
The Bellroy case is high quality and is backed by a 3 year warranty, so you can rest assured the case will outlast your phone.
The Bellroy Pixel 2 3-card case is priced at $89, while the case for the larger Pixel 2XL will cost $99 with free shipping from the Bellroy website included on both. You can check them out on Bellroy.com.
So bulky!
Will find out shortly. Hoping it’s just what I want.
According to couple of Pixel case reviews by popular Android sites and this case is the most not recommended one. According to its price and quality. Also, the quality of the leather is far away behind the iPhone case.
You may be thinking of their previous one. This has literally been released today. Review samples are heading out now.
Sorry, I want to like it as I love the idea however that is a very ugly case.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love the idea of wallet cases, but can’t stand the flappy bit over the screen. This may be the solution
Does it interfere with Google Pay contactless payments? I assume it would, especially if you have a credit card in the pouch 🙂
Will tell you shortly. Review unit incoming
Any update as far as a review?
