The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ already come in four stunning colour options, but Samsung isn’t satisfied today announcing they’re adding Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red Editions to the range – and one of them is coming to Australia.
The Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red editons will join the Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple options currently available for the S9/S9+. We won’t leave you waiting any longer, it’s the Sunrise Gold Edition that’s heading to Australia, as well as to Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam next month in June, while the Burgundy Red Edition is heading exclusively to Korea and China this month.
Younghee Lee, CMO and Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics said of the two new colours
People want to be able to express their style and personality through their technology and color is a big part of that personalization. The new editions extend the color offerings of Galaxy S9 and S9+ with vibrant styles that embrace a modern and classic feel.
While the new colour won’t affect the performance of the phone – which Jason and Chris found to be spectacular in our review of the phone back in March, it does look delightful. It’s slightly disappointing that we’re not getting the Burgundy Red colour, but the gold looks great.
The new Sunrise Gold option should retail for the same price as the other colour options when it launches. Samsung Australia hasn’t announced exactly when in June we’ll see the Sunrise Gold edition, but we’ll let you know as soon as they do.
I don’t understand why manufacturers do this certain colours for certain coutnries I really like the burgundy red why can we not get it in Australia the Gold is ugly .well gues the twilight p20 pro it is .
Great, again Australia missed out on the best colour. The red looks so nice
The Sunrise Gold doesn’t interest me at all, and Samsung’s attempt at Burgundy Red is mediocre in comparison to the LG G3.
