After being announced back in May alongside the budget Nokia 2.1 which is also launching in Australia next week, the Nokia 5.1 will be joining it on the same day for $329 from Harvey Norman.
The Nokia 5.1 is a stylish looking mid-range phone with a beautiful signature unibody design machined from a single block of 6000 series aluminium with a fingerprint sensor on the rear and a large 5.5″ FullHD+ resolution 18:9 aspect ratio display on the front. The Nokia 5.1 has power in spades with a Quad-core MediaTek Helio P18 processor and 2GB of RAM with 16GB of on-board storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 256GB.
The 16MP rear camera comes with phase detection, while the 8MP font-facing camera has a wide-angle field of view to make sure you capture those wide-angle selfies.

Yup no NFC no way
No NFC? If so, no go!
Feels like Nokia has missed the window for this phone…..Really keen for an aussie version of the Nokia X6 Plus…..with NFC 😉
