February 5th is the beginning of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Pig this year, and to celebrate Telstra has re-purposed their 26-metre digital billboard outside their Melbourne store to display personalised messages to loved ones. They’re also offering great deals on the Galaxy Note 9 (and iPhone XR) with great rates on international calls.
The message board has been seen previously displaying messages of love on Valentines Day over the last few years, but has been re-purposed for Chinese New Year. From February 1-5, all you need to do is text your name and the name of a loved one in English to 0484 800 800 (standard national SMS charge) and it will appear on the Telstra Discovery Store billboard on Bourke Street, Melbourne.
If you or your bae aren’t in Melbourne, you’ll still be able to witness the message with a picture message being sent to your phone so you can share it on social media, or just with your loved one.

The deal is available online only with a Min cost $2,112 over 24 months when phone is returned in good working order.
