Unsurprisingly, Samsung’s Galaxy S range is getting a lot of attention in the lead up to Unpacked. With the February 20 event looming large, we usually don’t see rumours for other devices. However, it doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Leakster Ice Universe has a tip this morning about the upcoming Galaxy A90 phone from Samsung. His leak indicates this phone will have no notch, no cut-out camera, and instead a pop-up selfie camera.
Why do I say that the A90 is perfect? The answer is that the Galaxy A90 will be Samsung's first pop-up front camera phone, so its screen is perfect, there is no Notch, no Hole. pic.twitter.com/j01WWtPzh8

This is a different move for Samsung. The company skipped the notch design entirely and went straight to a cut-out hole for the camera for the Galaxy S series. However, even that design isn’t popular with everyone. With the Essential Phone already showing off a pop-up camera, it’s entirely plausible Samsung could do the same.
Samsung’s Galaxy A series of phones has done pretty well in Australia in recent years. Interestingly, a pop-up selfie camera could be the signature design that takes the Galaxy A 2019 series forward.
