With just a week until the suspected big unveil of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro in Paris the leaks had started to dry up, today however a few more press renders have managed to see the light of day. There’s not a lot more shown in these images beyond previous leaks but they do show off both devices in all of their glory.
There aren’t a lot of other details leaking out today beyond the potential for the device to ship with a Samsung AMOLED panel meaning the display should be gorgeous without any green tinge issues that plagued the LG displays in last year’s Mate 20 Pro, so let’s look at the renders:
Huawei P30
Huawei P30 Pro
We’re seeing the same basic design, camera layout and overall presentation as in previous leaks, with the P30 Pro expected to have an optical telephoto lens. Huawei’s legacy in recent times for camera quality and AI computational photography we are expecting the P30 Pro to emerge as the new king of smartphone cameras: I guess we have but a week to wait to find out.
