Optus has launched new mobile plans as we predicted yesterday, with more details emerging about the build your own modular option and the premium Optus One option.
As expected all the new Optus postpaid plans include 5G network access, no lock in mobile service contracts and flexible device payment options (outright or pay over 12, 24 or 36 months).
Build Your Own
A great new initiative is the ability for customers to choose a puild your own plan option to suit changing needs on a month to month basis.
The new build Your own option allows Optus mobile customers to mix and match a range of features of their plan by choosing a monthly data amount, international calls and roaming data to start with and ability to increase/decrease every month depending on whether you’re going on an international trip, need extra data etc.
Optus One
This is the $119/month plan Optus hopes attracts high spending retail and business customers.
The offer includes “One-to-One Care” providing customers with their own dedicated 24/7 Optus One expert, with a unique number to call or SMS anytime so they are personally taken care of.
