Lenovo has been a quite achiever in the smart home space — they were an early partner for Assistant Smart Displays and they’re till the only OEM who makes an Assistant Powered Smart Clock. They also have a growing range of connected accessories to augment your smart home / Google Assistant experience
We’ve previous covered the Lenovo Smart plug and due to it’s small size (they fit side by side in an Australian outlet) and low cost crowned it the best Smart Plug Downunder. Lenovo have also quietly released indoor cameras, 360 cameras, door sensors, motion sensors, light bulbs(white and colour changing), light strips and an IR controller.
Lenovo is currently offering deals across the range with various retailers, we’ve found Lenovo Smart products on sale everywhere they’re sold including JB HiFi, Harvey Norman and the Good Guys as examples. Deals include two Smart Plugs for $48 ($10 off), the Smart Display 7″ $129 ($20 off), two Smart Display 7″ for $199 ($99 off) and depending on the retailer many more.
I have used a few Lenovo Smart products and found them easy to set up, easy to pair with Assistant and reliable. The Smart Plug is definitely my preferred device due to it’s small size. I bought 4 Lenovo Smart bulbs (2 for $25), but had some apprehension as soon as I picked one up in the shop. They’re so light (pardon the pun) compared to my other Wi-Fi smart globes (half the weight). But I was pleasantly surprised by their performance.
