We know the Pixel 4a is coming, we also know there’s likely to be 5G variants. But it seems that one of the US carriers — an MNVO, not a major carrier — just let the cat out of the bag by listing the “Google GO25E” on their dedicated 5G compatible device page.
The carrier in question, BOOM! Mobile runs via two of the US major carriers: AT&T and Verizon. The list contains a growing list of devices, but sited by an eagle eyed XDA reader is the additional Google devices.
In their breakdown, XDA note the model numbers for the Pixel 4a being G025J/G025N/G025M and that the step to the E being a 5G variant isn’t a big one, especially as it’s now listed in a “compatible 5G devices” list.
Are you excited to see Google finally jumping on the 5G bandwagon?
Do you think the GO25E will be a 5G variant of the Pixel 4a or, do you have another theory on what it may be?
