OPPO has announced that it is launching its latest Find N2 Flip smartphone in the Australian market, with the device looking to take on the Samsung Galaxy Z flip and Moto Razr flip phones and marks the first OPPO branded flip phone being made available here.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip smartphone combines the largest cover screen on any flip phone with all-day battery life and SUPERVOOC flash charging and looks to bring foldable devices out from the fringes to the mainstream.
Speaking at the launch, OPPO Australia Managing Director, Michael Tran stated:

So what does the OPPO Find N2 Flip bring to the market? Let’s have a look shall we?
The OPPO Find N2 flip comes with a 6.8-inch Foldable LTPO AMOLED display (1080 x 2520 @ 403ppi) with the front display being made up of a 3.26-inch AMOLED display (382 x 720 pixels @ 250 PPI) which the Cover Screen can display as many as six notifications in one view whilst the main screen once fully open in its vertical orientation is a game changer.
Powering the Find N2 Flip is an Octa-core (1×3.20 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.85 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510) Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ chipset alongside a Mali-G710 MC10 GPU.
In terms of storage and RAM, the OPPO Find N2 Flip comes in a variety of versions which include 8GB RAM alongside 256GB of onboard storage, a 12GB RAM with 256GB of onboard storage and the last version is 16GB RAM with 512GB of storage. It would seem the storage options cannot be expanded via MicroSD card.
In terms of cameras, the Find N2 Flip with a double rear camera setup made up of a 50 MP (wide) camera lens along with an 8 MP (ultrawide) lens. The front facing camera is made up of a 32 MP camera lens.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip will run with ColorOS 13 based on Android 13, alongside a side mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, tri-band, 4G and %G network connectivity and Bluetooth Version 5.3 and NFC capabilities.
OPPO have stated the Find N2 Flip comes with polished aluminium sides, a fingerprint-resistant glass cover and a unique micro-etched wave pattern across the hinge, Find N2 Flip has a stunningly simplified design. Furthermore, the Find N2 Flip weighs just 191g and measures only 7.45mm in thickness so it is lighter and thinner than any other flip on the market.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip in Astral Black and Moonlight Purple is available to pre-order from the 2nd to the 15th of March 2023 at $1,499 from JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman website and stores respectively, with sales beginning on the 16th of March.
