There’s a lot to be said for sticking with the big 3 carriers, but with MNVOs now offering more; that enticement is reducing. For customers on the Amaysim service, there’s more good news.

Most 5G market offerings are currently out of reach for many Aussies because they come with a premium price tag. We’ve ditched that constraint by offering exceptional 5G network access on our Unlimited plans $30 and above, at no extra cost.
All of this kicks in from July 3rd, where customers spending $30 or more monthly will gain access to the Optus 5G network. While 5G will improve some facets of connectivity, it’s also worth highlighting that there are speed caps (like other carriers) included in this with $15, $20, $30, and $40 Unlimited Mobile Plans and Long Expiry Plans having a maximum download speed of 100Mbps. If you’re after more speed, the $50 Unlimited Mobile Plan will include speeds of up to 150Mbps.
