After announcing Android One back at Google I/O this year, Google, in partnership with Karbonn, Spice and Micromax, finally launched their handsets in India back in September. At the time, Google announced a slew of other markets that they would target in the coming months, as well as new partners. Now they’ve announced that Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka will see Android One handsets launched in their countries in the coming weeks.
The Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1 and Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 will go on-sale through retailers and network partners such as Banglalink in these countries in the coming weeks. They will also be joined by Bangladesh manufacturer Symphony who will launch the Roar A50.
While the specs of the Symphony Roar A50 haven’t been announced, as a reference platform, it should be the same as the current Android One handsets already released – although Google did advise that Android One partner Qualcomm would provide processors for future Android One phone designs.

Google did also advise that Pakistan would see an Android One handset launched this year, but those plans appear to have changed.
Availability will most likely remain centred on those countries, so a contact in one of the three locations will be needed if you want to grab an Android One handset.
