If you’re in the hunt for a bargain between chowing down on some Lamb Chops or a Sausage sandwich this Australia Day, Oppo Mobile is running a sale on their Australian website, offering up to $100 off the four handsets available.
Oppo is only a relatively new entrant to the Australian market, launching back in September last year. Though relatively unknown in the mainstream mobile market, Oppo has got some pretty decent hardware chops, launching the worlds first phones with 1080P and 2K resolution displays. While another of their ‘firsts’, the Oppo R5 which is the worlds slimmest phone and the Oppo N3 with its motoroized camera module won’t launch till later this year, they’ve still got a greatselection of models available for sale.
All four mobiles available on the OppoMobile.com.au website are on-sale, with the prices dropped by up to $100.

I was interested until I saw that it ran Android 4.3 with a skin. No chance.
If oppo ran stock android (and supported their software in a reasonably timely manner) I’d be all over this. Feel like that’s the thing all these New companies miss. I get that it’s not a nexus, but getting the newest version of android 2 to 3 months after release (for an unlocked phone) seems reasonable to me? Just seems risky to buy a brand with no history or promise of decent software support. Love those specs on the find 7 though.
