Galaxy S6 Edge

If you’re interested in Samsung’s hot new Galaxy S6 but feel the black and white colour options just aren’t “you”, Samsung’s got some news for you today.

The original Galaxy S6 launch event showed the handset in striking Green Emerald, Blue Topaz and Gold Platinum colours alongside the Black Sapphire and White Pearl colours – the latter two being the only ones to make it to Australian shores at launch.

Samsung Australia announced this morning that pre-orders of the three remaining colours will start at 9am today, with general availability on June 18. Both the S6 and S6 Edge will go gold, while green goes to the S6 Edge and the standard Galaxy S6 will be available in blue. The colour options won’t add a premium to the handset’s RRP, which still starts at $999 for the 32GB S6 and $1149 for the S6 Edge.

If you’ve been waiting for the S6’s colours before taking the plunge on Samsung’s new phone, wait no more. You can pre
-order from the Sydney and Melbourne Samsung Experience stores from 9am today. Samsung’s release also says that carriers and retailers will jump on the pre-orders too. So far, Vodafone has announced its intention to take pre-orders on all the new colours.

Samsung – Pre-orders in-store from today at Samsung Experience Stores

If you’re like me and already took the plunge at launch… well, does anyone want to buy a black Galaxy S6?
