Pre-paid wireless service Boost Mobile has today announced they’ve added the curvy Sony Xperia E4 to their line of pre-paid phones for sale.
Announced back in February, the Xperia E4 is aimed at the budget conscious purchaser. The phone looks pretty decent, but has a fairly low-end specification list which includes a 5″ 960×540 resolution IPS Display on the front and a 1.3GHz quad-core processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, though a microSD card slot bumps the possibilities up a little on that front.
The Xperia E4 runs Android 4.4.4 out of the box but contains a number of software features such as STAMINA mode which should extend the 2300mAh battery beyond what you’d expect. There’s also a number of camera features which will hopefully bump the results from the 5MP camera such as auto scene recognition, HDR, Portrait retouch, Live on YouTube, AR Fun and Sound photo, as well as a range of other apps you can install.
It’s pertinent to note that like most pre-paid handsets, the phone is locked to the Telstra 3G Mobile Network. If you’re interested in grabbing an Xperia E4, you can grab one online from Boost, or through one of their many re-sellers for $129 with a $10 starter credit.
