If you’ve been following Ausdroid over the last week, you’ll have noticed we’re trying to raise support on a monetary level through crowd-support Patreon. We’ve laid out our page over on Patreon for you to read up on what we’re trying to achieve there, and if you’ve supported us – thankyou – If you haven’t, please consider it. If you’re a regular Patreon user, you may want to check out the Patreon Android app.
The app is a direct way to track your Patreon projects, you simply login with your Patreon credentials and all the projects you’re following come up front and centre. For fans you can interact with creators in real time as they post, or stay up to date with their posts and comment and importantly for Patreon, you can discover new creators. From a Creator perspective we can create and share new content as well as follow up comments and notify you, our patrons when we’re online so you can talk with us there.
The app itself isn’t anything terribly pretty to look at, but it’s a darn sight better than some other apps out there, and it works.
If you want to check out the Patreon app, it’s free to download on Google Play for devices running Android 4.0 and above. If you want to check out our Patreon page, it’s right here, or you can search for Ausdroid in the app and you can support us from as low as US$1 per month.
