During the Game Developer Conference in San Francisco, Disney Games have announced a new partnership with Crossy Road developers Hipster Whale.
The partnership will see over 100 Disney – as well as Pixar – characters brought into the popular game, with Mickey the first character to be given an 8-bit style makeover in the launch trailer.
Disney Crossy Road will be available ‘soon’ on iOS, Android and Windows, with the game coming to both Google Play and Amazon’s app store.
Released in 2014 on iOS and coming to Android soon after, Crossy Road is a massive hit with over 100 million downloads across both platforms. The original game is free to play, but is monetised with in-app purchases available to update your character etc. in game.
