After launching the game on iOS in March, Australian developers Voxel Agents, creators of the hit Train Conductor series has finally brought the game to Android today with the game now available on Google Play.

The game is a ‘high-speed train traversal puzzler’ which sees you taking control of the tracks and directing trains around a European setting this time. Train Conductor World continues the challenging fast paced intensity of previous games and adds in more challenges and better graphics to boot. Gameplay will see you ‘barreling across the canals of Amsterdam, zooming around the Arc De Triomphe in Paris and navigating the perilous peak of the Matterhorn’.

Since its release I’ve been a massive fan of Train Conductor 2: USA and been waiting on this release for Android since I saw the iOS release in March.

Train Conductor World features:

  • 17 cities to unlock, each with unique challenges
  • Connect to famous European landmarks
  • Collect track tiles and expand your rail network
  • Daily objectives and wacky challenges
  • Unique customisation options for your trains
  • Crazy challenges based on new curving track designs
  • Dynamic weather system

Train Conductor World is free to download and play, but there’s In-App Purchases worth between $1.99 – $49.99 per itemw. I haven’t seen any point at which I need to purchase these as yet, just getting through the earlier levels and setting up my tracks to other cities in Europe.

There’s a Google Play Games leaderboard to gauge your success against other people playing the game, so there’s a bit of competition there.

If you want to give Train Conductor World a go, it’s free to download now from

Installed it, played it for 5 minutes, “I quite enjoy this”, game tells me “wait 2 hours to do something or skip ahead with microtransactions”, *uninstall*

Played for hours, just getting more trains through to get gold and more track parts. I’ve linked up 5 cities now, not a cent paid. Loads of fun still for me anyway.

I completely agree. I’ve played the iOS version on my ipad for months and it’s really fun. It gets quite addictive to play as you really want to get the perfect score for each round. And then you expand to other cities. For this much fun for a free game, I’ve been very impressed.
