When you’re into running or working out, there’s nothing like putting your earphones in, pumping the volume up on some tunes and hitting the road or the gym. Google is teaming up with popular running app Runtastic to power those workouts, adding curated playlists which will suit any mood or activity.
The curated playlists will show in the Runtastic music section, and include playlists like ‘Today’s Running Hits’ or High-Energy Hard Rock Radio. Additionally, if you’re not already using it, Google is offering 2-month trials of Google Play Music to new users so you can create your own playlists for your workouts.
The feature is rolling out to anywhere that has Google Play Music and Runtastic – that’s more than 60 countries around the world, including Australia.
It’s a new feature for Runtastic that essentially lets you stay within the app to complete your workout.
The Runtastic app is ready to rock with the new feature so if you want to try it out you can download it from Google Play now.
