What you’re looking at above (larger) is the latest leaked render of the Motorola Spyder, which is the device we’re expecting Optus and Motorola are launching on October 27th. The device is going to be announced tomorrow in the USA on Verizon, so it will no doubt be dubbed the Motorola DROID RAZR, which I don’t think is anywhere near as cool as “Motorola Spyder”.
The device looks really thin — dare I say attractive — with a top-heavy looking lump at the top of the device where the 8MP camera is housed. The Spyder is powered by a 1.2GHz Dual-Core CPU and that screen is 4.3-inches with qHD resolution. If it launches with Gingerbread on the same day Ice Cream Sandwich and the Nexus prime are launched, I will laugh so hard, but I can’t see Motorola out-classing Google by announcing Ice Cream Sandwich before the Big G. Anyway, we’ll find out more tomorrow — it’s going to be a busy day.
Oh, I hope you’re enjoying the new-look Ausdroid 🙂
That logo went live a couple of days ago on the mobile site and I assumed it was an old one… it looks like ass cheeks
Wow, I like the new look! It’s really good and it loads faster too!
Good work guys!
