Remember the hype months ago about the upcoming launch of Carbon for Android — a kick-butt Twitter client? Well after long period of delays, the lead developer is assuring future users that the app will indeed be launching in the next few days.
Matter of a few dayz now…yea, still alive and kicking! Next up will be a full video and our Google Play link…

The app was previously meant to launch in late July, but nothing eventuated because of supposed bugs found in the last few days of testing. Hopefully all issues have been sorted, because Android is lacking a go-to Twitter client at the moment, however, the likes of Plume and Boid are great contenders.
I reckon Janetter will be something to look forward to too… they’ve just released the iPhone app, but I don’t have an iPhone. Their desktop app has replaced my Tweetdeck 0.38.2 because it’s so good and no BS. Android app coming soon too!
In saying that, Carbon has always been on my radar since HP Touchpad webOS days.
